Scanning
There are four publicly available scanners in the Architecture Library:
- Epson Perfection 4490 Photo- located in the southwest alcove on the first floor (with the computers). 8.5" x 11.7" scanning area. Maximum resolution is 4800 x 9600 dpi. Uses Epson software.
- Epson GT-15000 - located in the northwest alcove on the first floor (across from the computers). 11.7" x 17" area. Maximum resolution is 600 X 1200 dpi. Uses Epson software.
- Indus Book Scanner 5005 - located with the Maps and Plans off the first floor stairway. 25" x 35.4" scanning area. Maximum resolution is 400 dpi. Uses Indus software. (Please ask permission before using. This is an expensive and fickle piece of equipment.)
- Epson Expression XL 10000 - located in the staff workroom. 11.7" x 17" area. Maximum resolution is 600 X 1200 dpi. Uses Epson software. For emergencies only. (This is the main staff scanner.)
Printing
The Architecture Library has only one public printer: a Xerox Phaser 3600 (black and white laser printer). Patrons may also print to the computer cluster in the basement (G022 Bond Hall), which also has a large-scale color plotter. The computer cluster can be contacted at 574-631-8330 during the semester.
